    Generally, when conductors tell chorus how to sing well, they frequently use gestures and metaphor. In order to clarify the system how conductors and the member of the chorus communicate together in practices, I analyzed the way a conductor used to communicate with chorus, and chorus’s interpretations about a conductor’s advices. As a result, I found that a conductor used three ways, words, examples by songs, and gestures, in telling chorus how to sing. Moreover , I found not always all chorus receive same meaning from conductor’s advices.
